Finnish producer Rony Rex has shown a knack for charismatic creativity from the very beginning. Originally breaking out on the playful “Sticky Fingers” in 2017, he would strike gold yet again on 2019’s “Milk It” which featured dance vocalist Carla Monroe. That single would lead to spins on BBC Radio 1 and a Billboard Dance chart slot alongside features on 02, Love Island UK, Nickelodeon, Yves Saint Laurent, Inventing Anna, and the soundtrack of Stella McCartney’s catwalk at Paris Fashion Week. He added to a whimsical array of house collaborations with the likes of GIRLI and PC Music’s GFOTY in the following years, all of which expanded his distinctly vibrant sound.
Alongside his colorful production and plethora of sync success, he’s also established a reputation for eccentric DJ sets which have included performances everywhere from a shark tank to a hovercraft, playing while being swarmed by puppies or sailing the Gulf of Finland in a unicorn — Rony Rex is a creative DJ in the extremes.
